Who is Joycelyn Johnson?
Her Family
Joycelyn and her husband, Larry celebrated 35 years of marriage in April 2020. Together they have one daughter, Jarde' and she has three stepdaughters
Her Passion
Joycelyn has a passion for witnessing and sharing God's Word with young adults. She began the young adult Bible Study at her church in Louisana Greater MT Olive Missionary Baptist Church where she also served as a Deaconess. She also held a young adult Bible study in her home to discuss issues relevant to youth and encourage them to have an intimate relationship with God. God has blessed her to see the fruit of some of the seed planted in these young people's lives. She's currently a part of the Prayer Team at One Community Church. She serves as a member of the Prayer Team at the church she currently attends. She hosted the first Roses and Thorns Intimate Conversation gathering on September 23, 2016, in her home and has hosted several times since. She opens or closes Roses and Thorns gatherings in prayer and intentionally connects with the women who attend to support them in their walk with God and their personal development.
Her Career
Joycelyn is currently the Senior Account Manager where she is responsible for Nestle Waters business in all Safeway/Albertsons banners in Texas and Louisana. She's a graduate of Southern University A&M University, where she obtained her BA in Communications. Joycelyn has more than 20 years of successful management, leadership, and sales experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry. She has worked for some of the top blue-chip Fortune 500 companies and is highly decorated and recognized for her professional accomplishments.
